Terra Maris Resort

The Terra Maris has five swimming pools including children’s pools, an indoor pool, and a relaxation pool (under 16 year olds not permitted). Sun beds, umbrellas, pool towels and changing rooms are available at the pools and on the private beach. Children can have fun at the mini water-land which includes a slalom water slide, mini-kamikaze, mushroom fountain, paddling pool. The mini-club offers activities, games and film screenings, and there is also a playground. The health and fitness centre has a gym, sauna, steam bath, indoor pool and spa tub. Pampering comes in the form of a range of Thalasso spa treatments including lymph massage, body peels and manicures. Each guest is entitled to a complimentary face and back massage as well as a hairstyling session at the salon. There are four restaurants, five bars and three snack outlets at the resort, including a beach bar. The varied programme of activities includes Greek dancing, cookery and language lessons, aerobics and tournaments. Evening entertainment includes traditional Greek folklore nights, 60s’ nights and live music. Children have their own mini-disco and early supper in the restaurant; babysitting services are available so parents can party in the disco, open five nights a week.

The Terra Maris, Heraklion, features 146 air-conditioned guestrooms spread over four floors with light decor and dark wood furnishings. All have balconies or terraces and include satellite TV, direct-dial phones, safes, and tea and coffee making facilities. Free minibars are stocked with local wine, spirits, soft drinks and water. Bathrooms are equipped with complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. Daily fruit baskets are provided.
